  Nice place to stay, clean and warm. Ian was very kind to wait for us till 11:00PM as we had a long driving from Hornsby, better contact him before you come. The issues we came across were: 1) there are two separated taps without tap mixer, so you might find it difficult to wash dishes/face/hands with warm water. But shower has mixer. 2) the cell signal is extremely low as we are on Vodafone network, if you look at the attached nearby wireless base station map, the best choice is Telstra, otherwise, there will be no network. If Ian could provide free site wifi to guests, that would be five star.

  Nice relaxed atmosphere. Clean accommodation suitable for families. Basic meal preparation facilities. The only problem I can see is there is no wheelchair access, at least for the units in my building.

  We recently stayed at Talbingo Mountain Retreat with a group of friends there was 20 of us including kids and stayed in the larger lodge.we all had such a wonderful 4 days away the accomadation was just superb fitted all of us comfortably,could not fault anything with the accomadation and the manager Ian was very friendly and very helpful .Highly recommend we will be back next year to hit Selwyn snowfields..

  Impeccably clean room and ensuite, fantastic value, staff friendly and easy to deal with, beautiful quiet area.
